Will you pray for her?
Alise and her mother were attending one of Alise’s friend’s birthday parties. The party was going amazing and the kids were all having fun in the pool. When swimming time was over Alise’s mother
had a strange feeling. She thought about keeping the little girl’s life jacket on,
but she ended up doing so. She pulled Alise out, took her life jacket off, and turned towards the food area. That is when she got a sick feeling. She turned around and Alise was gone.
Her mother did a lap around the pool, but it was not until she did a second lap that she found her daughter stuck beneath a raft. She immediately jumped into action screaming to call 911. “I was praying while I grabbed her that she would start coughing as if she’d just fallen in. But when I brought her up from the water, it was evident she was without life. She was blue.”Then she began CPR. She performed CPR for 12 minutes but there was still no pulse. This got her worried.
“She all of the sudden had color and pink lips. Her heart started and she started breathing. It was strong, loud breaths. Her body and her brain were hurt. Her lungs took on severe injury which continued to be a problem.
Her brain has gotten through it, her lungs recovered and as near as we can tell she’s back to functioning as high level a 3-year-old can. For her brain to come through this and be as functional as possible is astounding. Prayer and luck and divine intervention were the key factors.”
