In 1988, music all-star Roy Orbison passed away from this world. A couple of years after this, his life was showcased in an enormous tribute concert. One of the tunes that had to be played was “Love Hurts”— a song that we have all heard countless times.

The song was written and originally recorded by Boudleaux Bryant, but it didn’t become famous worldwide until Orbison recorded his version of it back in the 60s. And the person who had the privelage of playing the classic song at the tribute event was the unbelievable Patrick Swayze.

Alongside country musician Larry Gatlin, Swayze gives an incredible, vaunted performance. We will never forget you, Patrick!
